Places

My artwork is a reflection of my journey through the world, capturing the unique essence of the rooms I encounter. Each space I paint, whether it’s a cozy hotel room, a bustling café corner, or a quiet living room, holds a story, a mood, and a sense of place. My process begins with simply being present in the space, observing how light interacts with surfaces, noting the colors, textures, and objects that define the room’s character. These details form the narrative I wish to convey.

Through painting, I aim to translate these fleeting, often overlooked moments into visual poetry. My work is not about replicating a space with photorealistic precision but about capturing its spirit. I use color and texture to evoke the emotions I feel when I sit in a room. By abstracting and amplifying certain elements, I strive to express the intangible—the warmth of a cozy corner, the melancholy of an empty chair, or the calm of morning light.
